Layout help needed
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, April 3, 2006 12:41 PM
My son has decided he wants to put my old Lionel O27 set back in operation. He has made a ten foot circle which he wants to lay the track on.
My question is how do I figure out how many and what type of curves will be needed. Where can I find the curve sections? I have lots of old straight and regular curves but they aren't going to work on a ten foot circle.

Any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated!

You'll get a lot more response over on the Classic Toy Trains Forum:

Thry over there, you should be able to get a good answer. This forum deals more with old classic 1:1 scale trains. Not too many Lionel experts here!
