Echo Classic Rail
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 11:03 AM
My nephew has received an echo classic railroad from his grandfather. It is a wind up train with plastic track.
Everything is great, but one piece of the curve is missing. Does anyone know if they are manufactured anymore and if so by whom. I have searched the web with no luck.

Thanks,
Joe

Keep an eye on ebay-G scale track, scenery, accessories-Echo whole sets, cars, and track show up fairly often-unfortunately most of the plastic track can't be use together because of the connectors.. Don't get in a bidding war for the stuff-I won't pay more than $1.00-$1.50 a piece for the stuff, you can buy the "real" solid brass stuff for about $3-3.50 mail order apiece-granted you would have to buy a complete circle but you can use it under the Christams tree or hopefully start a Garden Railroad-by the way-slide over to Garden Railroad Forum-it's home to large scale trains

Joe- I reread your post and I assumed you have a G scale train-check the track-if it is 1 3/4 or 45mm between the rails it is G gauge or scale--then my comments above apply. If it is 1 1/4 it is O scale, 3/4 HO scale--the smaller tracks can be inexpensively bought at a hobby shop.
