072 switches

If you power 072 switches from transformer power, will this accelerate the train across the switches if the voltage is turned up on the power to this switch? It seems to take a fair amount of voltage to make these switches work completely. Any ideas on this? Thanks, Jake

I'm not sure, but you would be far better off posting this question in the Classic TOY Trains forum, rather than here, the Classic Trains forum. Some of the guys on the CTT forum should have the answer.
