Check it out 1901 Union Pacific pics and Verification plate

Hi All

This is my first visit here, although old trains fascinate me all the time. I live in Las Vegas, NV and was driving thru Boulder City, NV when I came upon this OLD Union pacific engine, cars etc. It even has the nameplate of production and service or something, maybe someone can tell me what all the numbers mean. Appears to be a build plate for the tender, notice the 1901 patent date and build serial number, "Vanderbuilt" is the tender type, Its not clear from the photo but, somewhere should be the builder's name or foundry code (betcha Baldwin Locomotive Works or General steel casting) and the railroad of ownership. Hope this helps.

I did some rummaging - here's the story on one of the engines -

Builder: Burnham, Williams &Co. C/N30026 - built date 01/1907
Built for: UP RR - original number #264 changed to #6264 in 1954
Donated: 05/1959 to Sons of the Utah POioneers at Corinne, UT
went in 04/1981 to Heber, UT
...and it would appear that when the Heber collection closed down someone bought the engine and had it moved to Nevada.

I can't make out enough detail from your pictures to tell you anything about the other engine.
