Was Pacific Great Eastern, now part of CN, trip North Vancouver Lillooet 1986, some equipment still painted for PGE.

Those more familiar with the line can state the locations. The first is at N. Vancouver, and the last few at Lallouette.

Hard as it may be to believe, that community is spelled 'Lillooet".  That's a First Nations-derived name, but not the original First Nations name for the place -- which would be an interesting quiz question if the answer weren't so easily located.  What American city has the same sobriquet as the original name for the British Columbia municipality?

Meanwhile, for fun, look at the 'train' that has been providing services since BCR stopped running some form of Budd RDC accommodation (in 2002).  Those things are fascinating -- you might guess they're related to Fairmonts somehow, and in fact they are.  In keeping with the "Budd" theme of naming the Haolam trains, they are apparently called "Budd-lites"

Thanks to both of you, and I will correct the spelling.
