PG 22   That's an odd arrangement of switches just below the first passenger car.

PG 27   Every other switch has what looks like a second switch lamp. What's that for or is it something else?

PG 53 Lead paragraph   "Powered by a pair of rooftop 275-horsepower General Motors diesel engines,"   NO, the engines are mounted below the floor of the cars. The radiators are on the roof.
