His family was from Northern Ireland and lived in Enniskillen Upper Canada?

Well, this is for that fine gentleman J.J. McLaughlin!

Anyone who knows ginger ale knows that Vernor's from Detroit is much better than that Canada Dry slop!

Oh brother, another border war's comin'.  Wasn't the War of 1812 enough?

You don't want to hear this drifting over the Detroit River...

Naw, yoos guys have enough problems as is.

Besides we already captured and took over Michigan once but being Canadians we gave it back. Keep it... the evil witchy looking Whitmer, Detroit, the Flint water, all of it.

Yeah that's a weird one, never understood it, must be the $$$.

The Ontario Northland Rwy was willing to take it to the town of Kirkland Lake which was more than willing to accept it.

But it's nowhere near as good as it was before they switched the sweetener and stopped aging it the right length of time.

And if you like 'that sort of thing' Blenheim's red-cap has it beat all hollow.  (In honor of Johnny Deggesty I believe that was originally a South Carolina pee-dee thang.)

Canada Dry makes a good mixer, does not take away or distract the taste and it's smooth.

Vernor's is quite popular in Canada as a ginger ale soft drink.

We call it Pop not Soda.

Note that there hasn't been an apostrophe in Vernors for a very long time, I think since before the turn of the century...

Ok good good ... Vernors it is.

Have you ever had fresh made Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer at a Caribbean Festival ... wholllleeee that'll knock you out of your socks.

Then call the Fire Station to put out the fire in your mouth.

Top of your head gets wet then and I always end up running around in extreme discomfort and thinking " why the heck do you drink this stuff" ... then 20 minutes later I get another one... go figure.
