Canada Dry makes a good mixer, does not take away or distract the taste and it's smooth.
Vernor's is quite popular in Canada as a ginger ale soft drink.
We call it Pop not Soda.
Note that there hasn't been an apostrophe in Vernors for a very long time, I think since before the turn of the century...

Have you ever had fresh made Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer at a Caribbean Festival ... wholllleeee that'll knock you out of your socks.
Then call the Fire Station to put out the fire in your mouth.
Top of your head gets wet then and I always end up running around in extreme discomfort and thinking " why the heck do you drink this stuff" ... then 20 minutes later I get another one... go figure.
