D&RGW Narrow Gauge Lobato Trestle

I have heard it mentioned numerous times that Lobato Trestle wouldn't carry the weight of 2 of the K-class 2-8-2s. Isn't the weight of one of their rotary plows, tender and water car being pushed by a K-class about equal to 2 K-class engines?

Did the "new" Lobato Trestle get rebuilt to be more substantial capacity?

I would imagine that the weight of the drivers and frame is significant.  Also the "bouncing" motion of the drivers and rods puts extra stress on a bridge.
