Interesting how melodies seem to be recycled - "The Ship That Never Returned" becomes "The Wreck of the Old 97" and later "The Man That Never Returned". Kinda like how "My Little Old Log Cabin Down the Lane" became "That Little Old Sod Shanty on My Claim" and "The Little Red Caboose Behind the Train"....or how "I Am Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes" became "The Great Speckled Bird" then "The Wild Side of Life" and it's answer song "It Wasn't God Who Make Honkytonk Angels".
