Does anybody out there know anything about the Flyingyankee 616 made by Lionel. About eight years ago the only thing I knew about toy trains is that I had a Lionel set as a kid. Then my wife came home one day with a box of old rusty toy trains, from a yard sale. I looked shook my head and walked away. The next day for some un-known reason I started thuming around these rusty things with wheels crumbling off the axels. Then I thought I would do a little cleaning. The more I cleaned the shinner it got, before that I stripped it apart, not even knowing the slitest thing what I was doing. All the wires was broken not leading anywhere. Taking my time it took approx three or four months and I got the first motor running then I was hooked......I do know that it was made in 1935. Does anyone know the history of this tyrain. Thankyou

You should post this on the Classic Toy Trains forum. You will have a better chance of getting help over there.
