Hello all,
This is my first post.
I am currently attempting a color rendering of the Union Pacific Lounge Car Little Nugget from the City of Los Angeles. Right now I am at a stand still on a couple items. First is the brown on the skirting and roof. Looking at Wegman's American Passenger Trains book, he shows the power units m-10004 (I think) as having a reddish brown roof and skirting. However, looking at the B&W pictures of the train in the Pullman Standard Library vol 13, the brown appears to be a dark brown. Which is the correct shade of brown?
Secondly, I wonder if anyone has any details on the unique symbol on the side of Little Nugget. It looks to be a pentagon colored gold.
As a side note, the yellow was difficult to match, but I settled on a Gold Ochre which is a dark yellow and to me looks as close as possible to Armour Yellow. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. When I am done I will gladly post my image.
Thank You all for the help!
