HELP! Pics Needed - American Flyer HO Open Frame Motor
Posted by Spanners on Thursday, January 6, 2011 5:20 PM

Hello All,

I did a <really> stupid thing while replacing the brushes in an old American Flyer 443 (DC) Ho Scale Hudson, and didn't notice how the clips (springs) were positioned that hold the brushes in place, before I tore the thing apart!

So here I am, respectively requesting someone post up a pic of a DC HO scale AF open frame motor so that I can see how those things fit back in there (note that the HO scale motors use the standard AF clips (springs), but the isolated card they ride on is different that their S gauge brethren, thus my issue.

Anyone have one they can provide pics of??

Thanks all!

Cheers..
