My March 65 OGR shows the Topeka - Grand Island line as "freight only", as does my 58 OG.

The 1953 shows a daily 543/544 running between KC and Grand Island which would have travelled on the Marysville sub.

The trains thru Kearney would have been on the Omaha - North Platte mainline.  It would have been quite a parade of trains.

Gibbons-Hastings lost its passenger service around 1942.
