Drop down bridge across doorway

I recall an MR article a few years back on how to build a drop down bridge across a doorway.  Does anyone remember what MR edition it was in?  Any advice or war stories about this type of project would be appreciated.

Yes, that's the idea.  Has your track stayed sufficiently aligned?  Any issues with temp. related expansion & contraction?  It looks like on the hinge end your rails extend over the fixed portion of the roadbed.  Is this correct?  Thanks!

What kind of hinge did you use?  I've never seen one like that shown in the first photo.
